Born in Pangnirtung, I spent my early years learning the rhythms of a small Nunavut community before moving to Iqaluit, and settling in Qikiqtarjuaq since 2019. Living across different parts of Nunavut has given me a genuine understanding of how people here communicate, what matters to them, and how to actually help.
I work as a cashier and OHS Employee Representative at Northern Store — keeping coworkers informed, advocating for safe working conditions, and staying current with safety training. Outside of work, I manage local Facebook groups and community pages, helping connect people with reliable information.
